WHAT WE OFFEROur members enjoy Dinghy Sailing, Windsurfing, rowing and Canoe and Kayaking. Sometimes we just come to have a BBQ, go for a swim and enjoy the peace and quiet of the park setting or end the day watching a glorious sunset. Each member is allowed to store their own craft but if you don’t own a boat and wish to sail or canoe, you can use one of ours by joining the Co-op program. If you are interested in racing, we have a Tuesday night racing program for beginners and experienced sailors alike. We also participate in regattas hosted both by us and other clubs in the area. To learn how you can get involved visit our Club Racing page. During the summer we also offer the Learn To Sail Day Camp. Children ages 8-15 are able to build their skills and their confidence as young sailors in a safe and engaging setting. |
NON BOATING ACTIVITIESEven if you are not interested in sailing, GCBC offers plenty of options for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful site. Have a nice family meal using one of our club BBQ’s or go for a refreshing swim during a heat wave. Have a game of Bocci on our spacious grounds or enjoy an evening fire at “The Point”.
