MOLLY KURVINK
YELLOW ROSE - SAILING SCHOLARSHIP

Update:

Thank you to all who have donated to the Yellow Rose Scholarship. Our long-term goal is to reach $10,000, in order to build the Scholarship fund to the point at which it will become self-sufficient. This will service a yearly scholarship which can be offered in perpetuity, thus securing a long term legacy of Molly’s Kurvink's tremendous contributions to the Guelph Community Boating Club and the training and development of young sailors.

We appreciate your contributions.  Thank you.

In Memory of Molly Kurvink

As a way of honouring Molly’s love of sailing and her many years of teaching and mentoring young sailors, The Yellow Rose Scholarship is a one week tuition grant for the Learn To Sail Camp at the Guelph Community Boating Club.  One scholarship will be awarded in each calendar year to a Learn To Sail attendee and will be awarded to a female (identifies as female) student sailor under the age of 18 (on or before December 31 of the year of application) who displays a passion for sailing and a desire to improve.

The scholarship awardee shall be named at the end of each Learn To Sail season by the Head Instructor of that year's camps.
